First Battle at Hilltop

The First Battle at Hilltop is a major event in season eight of The Walking Dead, taking place during the episode "Do Not Send Us Astray".

In an attempt to scare the Militia back into submission, Negan and Simon taint the weapons of the Saviors in Walker blood to infect as many people as possible. While several Hilltop residents are killed in the attack, the Saviors are forced to retreat, but manage to rescue several of their prisoners.
