The Final Battle of the Savior War is a major event in season eight of The Walking Dead tv show.
After seemingly cornering The Militia in a field, the guns of The Saviors suddenly explode due to the bullets being tampered with by Eugene Porter and Gabriel Stokes, allowing Rick Grimes the chance to wound Negan Smith and capture him as their prisoner. At the same time at Hilltop, several more Saviors are burned alive by Oceanside when they finally decide to fight back and avenge their own fallen.
