Fear the Walking Dead is a spin-off series of The Walking Dead, made by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson. It began in 2015 and concluded in 2023. It is a part of The Walking Dead Cinematic Universe.
A sign of the apocalypse has begun. Reports of a rapidly changing world for unknown reasons underscore this gritty drama, a prequel to AMC's uber-popular "Walking Dead." The story is told through the lens of high school guidance counsellor Madison Clark. The widowed mother is raising two children single-handedly and maintains a relationship with English teacher Travis Manawa, her apocalyptic partner. The challenge of blending their families is exacerbated by unforeseen chaos, and a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold.

Trivia
- It is confirmed by Dave Erickson that Gloria, the first Walker shown in the series, is Patient Zero of the zombie apocalypse in the entire TV universe.
Notes
Season 1
- In the episode "The Dog", while Travis is driving passed the hospital, two Walkers, a doctor and a patient, are shown walking towards a group of SWAT officers, but a moment later, when the shot pans away from them and then back towards them, the doctor Walker is missing, so since this is confirmed to have been a mistake made by the show runners and the Walkers death isn't shown or confirmed, the doctor Walker will not be listed.
- Later in the episode, at least three body bags were shown being packed into the back of a National Guard truck, aside Su-Su's corpse, but these were likely the corpses of the Cruz family, and since it is unknown if they were reanimated or not after being killed by Peter, they will only be listed once.
- In the episode "Not Fade Away", Daniel mentions how when he was a child, unknown government soldiers came to his village and murdered many of the people in it, but since it is unknown exactly how many were killed, three will be counted for the minimum.
- In the episode "The Good Man", the burned remains of dozens of infected are shown, but since it is completely impossible to tell how many there are, none will be counted.
Season 2
- In the episode "Monster", the U.S. military bombs Los Angeles after enacting Operation Cobalt, but since it is impossible to know exactly how many Walkers, people, and animals were killed during the bombing, none will be counted.
