Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is a 2007 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Fantastic Four. It was theatrically released in the United States on June 15, 2007. It is a sequel to the 2005 film Fantastic Four, the series was rebooted in 2015 with Fantastic Four. It stars Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Laurence Fishburne, Julian McMahon, and Kerry Washington. It was directed by Tim Story.
The Fantastic Four learn that they aren't the only super-powered beings in the universe when they square off against the powerful Silver Surfer and the planet-eating Galactus.
