Notes[]

  • At one point in the introduction of the three Brutal Warriors Dr. Kochin mentions that they are strongest of the Bio-Warriors they have created, and with Bio-Men also being categorized as Bio-Warriors it would make sense, but since the Bio-Men are somewhat of cannon fodder and Dr. Wheelo wouldn't have created such powerful warriors right after the Bio-Men, it is safe to assume that there were few more Bio-Warriors hidden in Dr. Wheelo's fortress (possibly in stasis just like Dr. Gero's androids from the main Z series)
  • At one point in the film it is stated that Dr. Wheelo destroyed the South City using his Planet Geyser technique, and since we don't know the exact amount of people there we need to estimate : since Dragon Ball is Japanese series we can use the Japanese system. Since South City is one of the five major capitals of the Dragon World, it can be named as equivalent of a "core city" (opposed to regular cities) from the Japanese law (see Wikipedia article : Cities of Japan) which states that at least 200,000 inhabitants need to live there
    • And since also the Dragon World is inhabited not only by humans, we can also make a division by the species, and here we have the exact percentages of the population we can use (taken from Dragon Ball wikia) going by : 75% Human-type, 17% Animal-type, 7% Monster-type and 1% Hybrids (which are not only limited to Half-Saiyans since people like Tien Shinhan are also hybrids)
    • Also it's impossible to know the pet ownership rate in Japan for 1990, so we can only use the rate given on the internet by Pet Industry for the year 2020+ that around 72% households don't have any pet, giving 28% who do, including 17% of dogs. And so this number will be used (since it was shown that people do have pets big cities in the Dragon Ball series). And since it seems that the pet ownership was actually decreasing since the year 2013 the 28% is a safe estimate
      • Also it is said that the forest are around the South City was also destroyed, but it's truly impossible to count the number of animals living there since there is no real life reference data for that, and so only the inhabitants of the city itself will be counted since it was shown to be collapsing and in ruins after the attack
