Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is 21st feature film in the Dragon Ball franchise, and second under the Super series name. It was released in 2022 after an delay and was written and directed by Akira Toriyama, second Dragon Ball film ever to do so.
The film is first in the Dragon Ball history to focus on the (current) side characters - Gohan, Piccolo and Krillin and only feature Goku and Vegeta as a brief cameo. The events of the film follow comeback of the Red Ribbon Army from the original 1986 series, now under name of Red Pharmaceuticals as they build another set of Androids in order to kill Goku. The one who helps and builds them is Dr. Hedo, grandson of the infamous Dr. Gero, and a wannabe-superhero tricked into serving evil.
Currently as of 2024 this is second out of only two movies (second being DB Super: Broly) which is canon to the anime continuity, since events of both films were not adapted yet into anime and only into manga, which is its own continuity. If Dragon Ball Super will be continued the status of both this and Broly film will be same as the Ressurection F and Battle of Gods (retconned and adapted).

Notes[]
- In opening scene of the film we see a scene of Goku killing the Muscle Tower guards, an Red Ribbon Army pilot and Staff Officer Black, but since those are only flashback scenes from the Dragon Ball (1986) they don't count
- Same thing applies to King Cold, Lord Frieza, Dr. Gero and Cell who all died in the Z series
- In the scene where Dr. Hedo blows up several former co-convicts we don't see how many there are, but we can hear what seems to be five voices so that many will be counted. Also the police transport is also caught in the blast and explodes, and since it's same situation we can only assume the single driver and a single prisoner inside (especially since nobody leaves the vehicle afterwards)
- At end of the movie the entire Red Pharmaceuticals facility is destroyed in a nuclear explosion when Cell Max died, and since the entire battle happened over span of literal minutes it can be assumed that everyone seen earlier did not managed to escape and died in the blast (or if they tried then met same fate as the few ones earlier i.e. trapped under rubble and collapsing structures)
- In comparison the two unidentified prisoners we see in a brief flash are dead for sure as nobody let them go for certain
- Also there were at least 94 regular soldiers since every of them had a number and 94 is the highest one
- Both Soldier 15 and Carmine are revealed to be alive in the manga, but since that's different continuity and the anime hasn't shown it yet (with this movie being the latest installment) they will be counted as dead
- Since Magenta released the Cell Max who was built on his direct orders, he is also responsible for all of Cell Max's kills.
