Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies is first full-feature film in the Dragon Ball franchise, released in 1986. It was directed by Daisuke Nishio. It is also known as Dragon Ball: Legend of Shenron in other countries and dubs.
The film is a retelling of the first saga of the original Dragon Ball series and first gathering of the Dragon Balls, in which King Gurumes and his army take up the role of Emperor Pilaf as their opponents.

- It is unknown what type of submarine was used by King Gurumes, but for refence we can assume that it was modelled after Ha-3 class submarine of Japanese Navy (as evident by low number of crew, tall handrails on front and specific tail - which are not present on most of Japanese submarines), and so its complement was used here, minus two since both of Gurumes' named henchmen manage to escape in a special pod.
