Doctor Strange is a 2016 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 14th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Scott Adkins, and Mads Mikkelsen. It was directed by Scott Derrickson.
Dr. Stephen Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) life changes after a car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he looks for healing, and hope, in a mysterious enclave. He quickly learns that the enclave is at the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying reality. Before long, Strange is forced to choose between his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

- In the film we see the London Sanctum get destroyed by Kaecilius but there is no official number for how many died.
- At the end of the film Kaecilius and his two Zealots are taken into the Dark Dimension by Dormammu and it does look like they die but they are only turned into Mindless Ones by Dormammu.
