Lieutenant Commander Data, later transferred to Daystrom Android M-5-10, is a Soong-type android that served on the USS Enterprise-D and the USS Enterprise-E as a Starfleet officer. He is a major protagonist within Star Trek appearing in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: Nemesis, Star Trek: Picard, as well as appearing in a range of other media around the franchise.

He is portrayed by Brent Spiner.
