Criminal Law is a 1988 crime drama film directed by Martin Campbell, starring Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon.
The plot focuses on a defense attorney who successfully acquits a man accused of murder, only to find out a day layer that he was the killer and intends to continue. Feeling guilty about being the one to let him back on the streets, the lawyer decides to go against his duties as an attorney and find evidence to put him away for good.
