Cleopatra is a 1917 American silent historical drama film based on the late H. Rider Haggard's 1889 novel Cleopatra, the 1890 play Cleopatre by the late Émile Moreau and the late Victorien Sardou, and the play Antony and Cleopatra by the late William Shakespeare. The film stars the late Theda Bara in the title role, the late Fritz Leiber Sr. as Julius Caesar, and the late Thurston Hall as Mark Antony. The film is now considered partially lost; only small parts of the film remain as of 2025.
