In General[]
- Claude is not to be mistaken for the main protagonist of Grand Theft Auto II, Claude Speed.
- The reason why Claude is not considered pure evil is that he did somewhat love Maria Latore before presumably killing her and he loved Catalina before she betrayed him.
By Mission[]
- In the mission "The Exchange", the game ends with Maria Latore and Claude leave the dam until the screen fades to black and a gunshot is heard. It is most likely that Claude ended up killing Maria in order to stop her incessant talking as it's unlikely Claude was shot by someone else or committed suicide since Maria would've undoubtedly said something or screamed in panic at the sight of Claude dying so suddenly.
