Chicken Run is a 2000 animated adventure comedy film directed by Peter Lord and Nick Park and written by Karey Kirkpatrick. It stars with Julia Sawalha, Mel Gibson, Miranda Richardson, the late Tony Haygarth, and the late Benjamin Whitrow. It is followed by the 2023 sequel Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.
When a cockerel apparently flies into a chicken farm, the chickens see him as an opportunity to escape their evil owners.
