Trucker

A subgenre of film, television, literature and other form of art that features trucker in either the main or supporting role. These films will often showcase the communities built around trucking or feature trucks themselves as a major part of the theme. They often fall within the action, drama or thriller genre. The genre first gained popularity with The Wages of Fear and its subsequent film adaptation. Other notable trucker films are Duel, La Menace and Maximum Overdrive.
