Torture Porn, also known as Gorno, is a subgenre of horror films where the main focus of a film or film series is the physical, psychological, or emotional torture of either one or several people. The most popular examples would include the Saw and Hostel film series.
Films that merely have torture scenes in them do not count as torture porn. A film can only qualify if the scenes last either most of or the entire duration of the film, or have more than one lengthy torture scene in-between other events happening.
