Cosmic Horror

Media that have a cosmic horror as its main or a major source of its horror. Cosmic horror is a genre characterized by its depiction of the unknown, or elements that the human mind may not be able to comprehend. Keep in mind since there are a lot of varying definitions of Cosmic Horror, this list is bound to be subjective. Another term for Cosmic Horror is Lovecraftian Horror. The difference between this category and the Cthulhu Mythos category is the latter only covers works in the mythos while this category covers all cosmic horror works whether they are written in the Mythos or not. While the Cthulhu Mythos and Lovecraft's works can fall under Cosmic Horror, not every work written by Lovecraft can be considered Cosmic Horror.
