“
We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
”
The Borg are an alien species that appear as major recurring antagonists within Star Trek, first appearing in Star Trek: The Next Generation. They are cybernetic organisms that are all linked in a hive mind known as The Collective. The Borg take possession of technology and knowledge from other alien species through the process of assimilation which transforms individuals into Borg drones. They are ruled by the Borg Queen.
