Robert E. Lee "Bob" Ewell is the main antagonist of the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird. He is a vile and racist resident of Maycomb, Alabama that assaults his own daughter and pins it on a kind black man who assisted said daughter with chores around the house.
He is portrayed by the late James Anderson.
