Black Widow is a 2021 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, and Olga Kurylenko. It was directed by Cate Shortland. It was followed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in 2021.
Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy, and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
