Black God, White Devil (Portuguese: Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol) is an acid western film released in 1964.
In the film, a couple travels through the sertão after killing their boss, encountering cults and bandits on the way. At the same time, they keep running into a bounty hunter, who is tasked with ridding the corrupt people in the desert. The film was directed by Glauber Rocha and stars Geraldo Del Rey, Yoná Magalhães, Othon Bastos, and Maurício do Valle. It is the first film in the Antonio das Mortes trilogy.
