Big Jake (1971)

Big Jake is a 1971 American Western film starring the late John Wayne, the late Richard Boone and the late Maureen O'Hara. The picture was the final film for the late George Sherman in a directing career of more than 30 years, and Maureen O'Hara's last film with John Wayne and her last before her twenty-year retirement. The supporting cast features Patrick Wayne, Christopher Mitchum, the late Glenn Corbett, the late Jim Davis, the late John Agar, the late Harry Carey Jr., and the late Hank Worden.

The avenging head of the McCandle clan returns to his estranged family and leads the search for his kidnapped grandson. Big Jake (John Wayne) sets off, his sons in tow, to deliver the ransom to the kidnappers, but has little intention of handing it over without a fight.
