Baxter is a satirical/black comedy/psychological film released in 1989.

In the film, an intelligent bull terrier is adopted by an old woman he deems to be annoying. After killing the old woman, he is adopted by various families, including a boy who is slowly becoming radicalized by Nazi aesthetics. The film was directed by Jérôme Boivin and stars Lise Delamare and François Driancourt. Baxter himself was portrayed by Chimbot and was voiced by Maxime Leroux. It is based off of Ken Greenhall's 1977 novel Hell Hound.
