
Batman is a 15-chapter theatrical serial released in 1943 by Columbia Pictures. It is the first live-action adaptation of the DC Comics character Batman. A second serial entitled Batman and Robin was released in 1949.
Batman is a secret U.S. government agent, attempting to defeat the schemes of Japanese agent Dr. Daka operating in Los Angeles at the height of World War II.
