Barry

Barry is an American surreal dark comedy crime drama television series created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader that premiered on HBO on March 25, 2018 and concluded on May 28, 2023.

The series follows Barry Berkman, a hitman from Cleveland who travels to Los Angeles to kill someone but finds himself joining an acting class taught by Gene Cousineau, where he meets aspiring actress Sally Reed and begins to question his path in life as he deals with his criminal associates such as Monroe Fuches and NoHo Hank.

In Season 4: Episode 8 - wow, several deaths are shown at the end in the fictional film "The Mask Collector", including the off-screen deaths of Ryan Madison and Janice Moss, the strangulation of a guard, three guards being shot through the head and Barry being shot seven times by Gene at the end.
