Avatar: The Way of Water is a 2022 film directed by James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver. It is the second film in the Avatar film series, preceded by the original Avatar and followed by Avatar 3: Fire and Ash. Chronologically, it is also preceded by the comic book series Avatar: The High Ground.
Jake Sully and Ney'tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.

- Colonel Miles Quaritch, Corporal Lyle Wainfleet, and Private Sean Fike had their consciousnesses stored before the Assault on the Tree of Souls, which is why they were regenerated in new Recom bodies.
