The Assassination of Eugene Cobb is an pivotal event in the Hitman series.
Lucas Gray, otherwise known as Subject 6, had thought he had escaped Providence after fleeing from the Institute for Human Betterment. He eventually became of the Head of Security for the CEO of Milton-Fitzpatrick, Eugene Cobb. During this period of occupation, he had discovered that Eugene was apart of Providence. After coming to the terms that he couldn't run forever, he plans and initiates a Guerrilla-Like conflict against members of Providence, starting with his boss. During a flight across the Pacific Ocean, Lucas struck, killing Eugene along with the crew, even sabotaging the black box, and escaping before the plane plunged into the ocean.
