The Assassination of Dutton was the final step in Wilson Fisk's plan to take control of Ryker's Island by having both Dutton, the inmate running the prison, killed, as well as Frank Castle, the assassin, killed as well.
The event takes place during the season 2 episode "Seven Minutes in Heaven" of the TV show Daredevil.
