Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is an American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Aquaman. It is the 15th and final installment in the DC Extended Universe prior to the DC Universe relaunch and is a direct sequel to Aquaman. Produced by DC Studios, Atomic Monster, and The Safran Company, it was released on December 22, 2023. It stars Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman.
Aquaman balances his duties as king and as a member of the Justice League, all while planning a wedding. Black Manta is on the hunt for Atlantean tech to help rebuild his armor. Orm plots to escape his Atlantean prison.
Two prequel comics "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Special" and "Aquaman: Through Fire and Water" was released in October 2023 and January 2024.
