Appointment with Death is a 1988 American mystery film directed by the late Michael Winner; starring the late Peter Ustinov, the late Lauren Bacall, and the late Carrie Fisher. It is an adaptation of the 1938 Agatha Christie novel.
While vacationing in Jerusalem, Hercule Poirot stumbles across a murder when a very unpleasant matriarch is found dead during an archaeological dig in Petra. Unfortunately for Poirot, the woman had many enemies, including her five stepchildren who all had good reason to want her dead.
