An Officer and a Murderer is a 2012 Canadian Lifetime TV film written by Keith Ross Leckie, directed by Norma Bailey, and starring Gary Cole. It is based on the crimes and arrest of serial sex offender and murderer, Russell Williams.
A respected Royal Canadian Air Force colonel leads a double life as a burglar and sex offender in the small town of Tweed. Two police detectives investigate his case and the colonel soon escalates from burglaries and panty thefts to murder.
