Airplane! is a 1980 American disaster comedy film that is a parody of both the disaster film genre and the Airport film series. It stars Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty, Leslie Nielsen, Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Lorna Patterson. A sequel Airplane II: The Sequel was released in 1982.
After the crew becomes sick with food poisoning, a neurotic ex-fighter pilot must safely land a commercial airplane full of passengers.
