
Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a 1953 American Universal comedy-horror film directed by the late Charles Lamont, produced by the late Howard Christie, and starring the late Bud Abbott, the late Lou Costello, the late Boris Karloff, the late Eddie Parker, the late Craig Stevens, and the late Helen Westcott. It is the 34th film in the Abbott and Costello franchise.
The famous actors Abbott and Costello become a pair of policemen who will travel to the old continent, more specifically to London, to learn from their British colleagues. Among other colorful characters, they meet one of the most eccentric doctors in the city: Doctor Jekyll (Boris Karloff). He will end up accidentally injecting himself with a syringe that turns him into his fearsome evil alter ego, known as Mr. Hyde (Eddie Parker). The charismatic characters will have to do everything in their power to escape the doctor and his double personality.
