
52 Pick-Up is a 1986 American crime drama film written by the late Elmore Leonard and John Steppling, directed by the late John Frankenheimer, and starring the late Roy Scheider. It is based on Leonard's 1974 novel of similar name 52 Pickup.
A wealthy metal plant owner is drawn into a blackmail plot by three criminals after having an affair with a nude model. When the man refuses to pay, the criminals kill his mistress, set it up to look like he did it, and threaten to turn him in.
