12 Angry Men is a 1997 American made-for-television legal drama film written by the late Reginald Rose and directed by the late William Friedkin. It is a remake of the 1957 film, which itself was based on Rose's 1954 teleplay Twelve Angry Men.
Twelve jurors are brought in to decide the fate of an eighteen-year-old Latino boy who allegedly killed his father. While it seems like the jurors are all sure of the boy's guilt, one man has doubts, leading to a tense back-and-forth discussion over the "not so open-and-shut as it appears to be" case.
